    Daily Syllabus for May 4 - May 15

    Speaking/Listening Activities: Students will speak and respond in English daily with other family members for 30 minutes a day.  Student will record their time on their daily calendar that was sent home.

    Writing: Student will respond to three writing prompts a week in a writing journal.

    Reading: Students will read one weekly passage from Readworks.org. 

    Comprehension: Students will re-read the weekly passage from Readworks.org and answer comprehension questions.

    Grammar: Students will complete daily present continuous verb tense activity pages listed on calendar.  Vocabulary: Students will complete daily vocabulary activity page listed on calendar.

    Students will be contacted via google meet at 1:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays to give additional support in other content area subjects.

    Optional Activity:  1. A list of spanish/english books online reading websites (GetEpic.org and Vooks.org) have been sent to the students for extra practice.

                               2. Student has been given a username and password to complete online vocabulary activities/games using SpellingCity.com
