SWAY Concussion Baseline Testing Information Link
Please click on the link below to see the dates, information, available times and schedule for the SWAY Concussion Baseline Testing. It is required for Grades 7, 9, 11 and any new players who did not participate or play in a sport for the Belle Vernon Area School District in the past twelve months. All players will need to schedule the assessment prior to the start of the first day of the mandatory season.

Non-Mandatory Conditioning and Practice

Physical Dates and Information:
Fall 2021 Sports' Physicals will be given at Leopard Hall on Thursday, June 30, 2022 and Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 8:00 am to 11:30 am. Please fill out PIAA CIPPE Form Sections 1 to 5 on Healthy Roster and print out and bring Sections 6 to 7 to the physical. These will be done on a first come, first serve basis and players will receive a number. Please arrive early to get your physical. All physicals must be completed prior to the first day of the mandatory season.
All new players (7th Grade and 8th Grade) will need to take the Concussion Screening Baseline Test with our athletic training staff. The test will be good for two years. It will be scheduled during the physical sessions and through the summer months. The link is posted above to schedule the test. A computer lab will be used at the former Rostraver Middle School with members of the athletic training staff through the Allegheny Health Network. ** All students MUST have a completed physical to participate in practices and games. These forms MUST be completed and turned in to either Coach Divelbliss by the start of the mandatory season.
**If you choose to go to your family doctor, you must use the CIPPE Forms that are provided on the website or at the Belle Vernon Area School District's website. The physical cannot be dated earlier than June 1, 2022 or it will not be valid.
Copies of the CIPPE Forms are available on this website and on the Belle Vernon Area Department of Athletics website.
Media Day is at the Belle Vernon Area Stadium (James Weir Stadium) and has not yet been announced.
